Quilted Maple sides, Red Spruce top, 1 1/16" fossilized ivory nut,
traditional flat fingerboard with large frets, ebony overlay on front
and back of headstock, flowerpot inlay, James tailpiece, round pearl
position markers, dark tortoise side position dots, side bound top,
back, sides, neck, and headstock, Waverley tuners with pearl buttons,
hand made ebony bridge made from a 100 year old piano key, hand rubbed
stain and varnish finish, ebony endpin with parisian eye. Our price is

This mandolin is a true work of art! Handmade by Bob Altman in Athens,
GA. Altman is quickly gaining a reputation for making some of the best
mandolins available. One piece Engelman spruce top, two piece flamed
maple back, flamed maple sides, flat ebony fretboard with jumbo frets,
speed neck, removable ebony finger rest, ebony truss rod cover, burl
walnut overlay on back of the headstock, Waverly tuners, hand rubbed
varnish finish. About as spectacular as a mandolin can be! $9450

Words cannot describe the sound of this mandolin! It plays
with a gorgeous tone whether you play softly or loud enough to drown
out a banjo. One piece solid Engelmann spruce top, solid flamed maple
back and sides, radiused ebony fretboard, Waverly tuners, burl walnut
pickguard, truss rod cover, and headstock over lay. Hand rubbed varnish
finish, flowerpot mother of pearl headstock inlay. Try an Altman and
