1920 Gibson H2 Mandola
An amazing vintage Gibson mandola! The tone is deep, rich, lush, and balanced with a ton of volume. On top of that, this has to be the easiest playing vintage mandola that we have ever encountered to date. This is likely due to the fact that it just had a re-fret with larger, modern style fret wire and the set up is low and comfortable with no playability issues at all up and down the fretboard. In very clean condition for it's age, there are obviously some stray dings and scuffs as with any instrument of this vintage, but no cracks or structural issues at all. The pick guard is missing, we believe the tailpiece cover may be a Gibson replacement, and the bridge was swapped out for a later 20's Gibson adjustable type. There is a shop logo on the back of the headstock. Comes with a vintage Gibson "red line" hardshell case in very good condition considering it's age.
