1960 Gibson TG-0 Tenor Guitar
1960 Gibson TG-0 in overall great condition. There are the normal bumps, scrapes, and finish checking for a guitar of this vintage but it is crack free and in need of no repairs. It appears that the bridge may have been re-glued at some point but they did a good job, there's just a bit of run out around the edge to tell the tale. There is a strap button installed in the upper bout side by the neck and while that's not the ideal position, we inspected it and the screw goes into the neck block and not just the side, so it should be very stable (it also looks like it's been there for a long time). There is an internal pickup installed and the guitar sounds great plugged in. The action is low and comfortable all the way up the neck and the tone is very woody and charming. We have this one currently strung for GDAE (octave mandolin) tuning but the guitar could easily handle CGDA or DGBE with different string gauges. A great little tenor guitar! Comes with it's original chipboard case that is in fair and serviceable condition.
