2009 Weber Yellowstone Distressed F5
2009 Weber Yellowstone in pretty much perfect condition (except for the factory aging and distressing, ha!). This mandolin looks like it has had decades of playing but without the quirks and problems of a roadworn older instrument. No issues at all, not even the slightest bit of fret wear.
The setup on this mandolin is low and comfortable and is a joy to play. The tone is mature with crystal clear highs and rich mids and lows. There is a nice fundamental woody character to the tone without being muddy or honky at all. There is a lot of complexity to the midrange, which is usually a quality in fine mandolins that cost much more.
Red Spruce top, Sugar Maple back and sides, Weber one piece cast tailpiece, adjustabe "brekke" bridge, bone nut (1-1/8"), fully bound in ivoroid, bone corner caps, speed neck, grover tuning machines, comes with original Weber hardshell case also in great condition.
