Exchanges or returns are possible up to seven days with original receipt for store credit

Defective new instruments can be replaced or refunded.


Refunds are only possible on defective new instruments and instruments bought "sight unseen" and returned under the 48 hour approval period


While we do not entertain "trades", we do occasionally buy used instruments from time to time. Since we are such a small shop we have to be highly selective about what we purchase. As such, it is advised that you call ahead to see if we might be interested in what you have before bringing it in. And although we need to see the instrument in person to make an official offer, we also want to be upfront about what we might realistically offer you before you stop by. Purchases are only done by the shop owner or shop manager during the weekdays (Mon-Fri), and again it is advised that you call ahead to make sure one of them is on site and to speak with them regarding the possible interest of the instrument. WE DO NOT PURCHASE INSTRUMENTS ON WEEKENDS, and due to limited space we cannot allow instruments to be "dropped off" for consideration. Please feel free to call us anytime during the week to discuss the possibility of selling your instrument.


We offer a 48 hour approval/trial period on all mail order instruments.  Under this option, the purchaser may return the instrument for any reason at all but must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the instrument with their intention to do so. The instrument must then be shipped back to us within 24 hours of notification.  Refunds are issued in the form of a check and will be issued once we receive the instrument back and determine that it is still in the same condition in which it was sold.  

All shipping fees will be deducted from the refund amount, including shipping fees that were included in the original sale for free. We are happy to provide documentation of those actual shipping costs along with the refund.
