USED Ellis F5 #47 (1986)

We are helping local music icon Doc Hamilton sell his mandolin. This instrument was one of three mandolins made together from the same wood in 1986. One went to Ricky Skaggs, one to Buck White, and this one to Doc. The tonal characteristics of this instrument are those that can only be achieved through 25 years of constant playing on top quality material and craftsmanship. It's a powerful mandolin with a very strong fundamental tone and an incredible dry pop and attack. Sustain for days...It doesn't get much better than this!
I would call the condition excellent, although it does have some very insignificant scrapes and dings that you would expect from a mandolin that has been played this long. Actually, it has a lot less than  would be expected. It has some minimal fret wear and the slightest bit of arm rash above the tailpiece. It looks like a well loved, well cared for 25 year old instrument. It's a beautiful mandolin and it sounds like a million bucks.
Comes with a TKL shaped case.
$8900

2006 Bulldog F5

No scratches, dings, or repairs.  Solid Spruce top, highly flamed Maple back, sides, and neck, white/black/white binding on top and back, radiused ebony fingerboard with scooped fretboard extension, comes with a Doug Edwards McClung armrest and a foam core case
$2800

Yamaha
CSF 35  Parlor Guitar

Only slightly used and in excellent condition.  The perfect small bodied guitar for travelling or just those times when a dreadnaught is just too much.  Great tone!
$325

1946 Gibson LG2

Super rare guitar! Gold script logo (only done for two years), huge sounding small body due to x-braced, wide grained Adirondack spruce top. This is a guitar that can easily shift from bluesy finger picking right into aggressive flatpicking without flinching. The beefier neck profile is very comfortable and it's set up nicely. Has enough saddle left to lower the action once more before modifications will be needed and it's very comfortable where it's at.
Overall in good condition relative to it's age showing finishing checking and some character marks (most notably on the back of the neck), but is a completely crack free guitar... which is rare for this year/model. All original except for the tuners (originals are in the case). Comes with a modern hard shell case that fits it perfectly.
$3450
